The History of PEGS

Established in 1953, PEGS Hockey Club is an inclusive family orientated club, with a proud history within the Hockey Victoria competition. Partially affiliated with local school, Penleigh and Essendon Grammar, players from within the school and the broader community are welcome.

Following a sustained period of growth, development and success, PEGS Hockey Club offers an extensive variety of grades including Hookin2Hockey, Stick2Hockey, Junior and Senior teams. With recent premierships in our senior and junior grades, PEGS was recognised as the ‘Hookin2Hockey’ Club of the Year in 2016 by Hockey Victoria.

Located at the PEGS sporting fields in Keilor Park, it is one of the area’s fastest growing hockey clubs. Encompassing two pitches, social room, canteen and change room facilities, the infrastructure is second to none.

The club culture encourages inclusivity, success, and on field sportsmanship in a family friendly environment.
